Terms of Use & Community Guidelines

Last updated: October 11, 2026

AccountabilityPartner ("the app") helps you keep goals with a small circle of people you choose. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. The app asks you to agree to the community guidelines below before you can use it, and again whenever they change.

1. Community guidelines

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that breaks these guidelines is removed, and accounts that post it are suspended or removed.

Anything you write in the app can be seen by someone else - nudges, praise notes, responses, the reason you give for unlocking an app, goal and challenge titles, circle names and your display name. Do not post:

The app filters common offensive words before text is sent. The filter is a first line, not a guarantee - what gets past it is still subject to these guidelines.

2. Reporting and blocking

To report something urgently, or anything you can't report in the app, email accountabilityapp@icloud.com. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

3. Your account

4. Screen Time

Screen Time limits are optional and use Apple's Screen Time framework. The app never sees which apps you use or what you do in them. A limit is a commitment you choose to make; the app is a support tool, not a medical or therapeutic service.

5. AI suggestions

AI features are off until you allow them and can be turned off in Settings → AI suggestions. Suggestions may be inaccurate; use your own judgment.

6. The service

The app is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content; these terms are between you and us, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

7. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the app will ask you to agree again before you continue.
